Store Associate Wanted at Coop Kalmar Funkabo

We are now seeking a new team member for our store Coop Kalmar Funkabo. We want you to have a passion for food and cooking. You have good initiative and a positive energy that is contagious, you see the customer's needs, and with pride and joy, you deliver the best customer service in the industry.

As a person, you are creative and are happy to come up with suggestions and ideas, and you find it easy to work in a team. You have an eye for detail and the commitment to create a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself.

You will be working with all common tasks in the store, such as:

• Working at the checkout
• Restocking shelves and fronting products
• Building displays on sales tables and ends
• Working with inventory and waste
• Conducting quality control
• Keeping the store clean and tidy
• Focusing on fresh products

Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is number one. You find it easy to create long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to enjoy shopping. You thrive on being active and working physically. Working in a store offers you a varied job in sometimes a fast-paced environment, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.

Previous experience in grocery retail is highly meritorious, but personal suitability is equally important to us at Coop.

The position is a permanent employment of 25 hours/week with a start date according to agreement. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period.

• Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement
• Must be at least 18 years old to work independently at the checkout
• Experience in store work and fresh products is highly meritorious
• Experience and competence from retail and/or other service professions is meritorious
